About R.G. Abbott

R.G. Abbott is the fiction pen name of Rich Abbott — author, former pastor, and theologian based in rural Manitoba, Canada. He writes prophetic thriller fiction for readers who sense that the world is moving toward something significant, and who want stories that take that seriously.

His background is unusual for a thriller writer. Two decades in pastoral ministry. A Bachelor of Arts in theology. Years of careful study in eschatology, geopolitics, and the intersection of biblical prophecy with contemporary events. He is not writing from the outside looking in — he is writing from the inside of a worldview that he has lived, tested, and refined over a lifetime.

The Frequency Series — seven books following a retired signals analyst and the unlikely table he gathers around him — is his first complete fiction series. It took shape over several years of rapid writing, each book building on the last, the world inside the story tracking closely with the world outside it. The series is now complete, from Glitch through to The Frequency Revealed.

His second series, The Firmament Inquiry, is in development. It follows a theology professor and an Israeli data scientist investigating the hidden architecture of the ancient world — a story that asks harder questions about the map of reality itself.
